Fig Garden Village and KMPH Fox 26 would like to announce that the finalists have been chosen for our Mother of the Year Contest.
Please join us in congratulating the following participants who's heartwarming, funny, and inspirational stories have been selected to compete for prize packages valued at over $1,000.
One Grand Prize winner will also be selected in a random drawing from the five winning mothers and will receive an additional Tachi Hotel & Casino Prize Package valued at $668.
You have the opportunity to help choose the winning story. Come on down to any participating Fig Garden Village restaurant or store to vote for your favorites. One vote per category, per household please. Voting starts Thursday, April 30 and ends Thursday, May 7, 2009.

Join us for the festivities on Saturday, May 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a free concert featuring the popular Joe Lenigan's Little Big Band from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Then Fresno's own Kopi Sotiropulos will be on hand to announce the winners of the contest in a special ceremony honoring not only the finalists, but all contest entrants.

We were overwhelmed by each and every letter received for the Fig Garden Village/KMPH Fox 26 contest. Each mother in their own exceptional way is a winner. As a special surprise and thank you, every person who submitted an official entry online at KMPH Fox 26 or to the Fig Garden Village Management Office by April 26, 2009 will receive a $20 Fig Garden Village Gift Certificate valid at all participating Fig Garden Village restaurants or stores. One coupon per family/household.
The coupon must be picked up in person by the story author on Saturday, May 9, 2009 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., no exceptions. A valid driver's license or government I.D is required. For persons under the age of 18, a parent or guardian I.D., birth certificate, or school I.D. will be accepted.
